Let's see what's new at J.J. Newberry, F.W. Woolworth, W.T. Grant, American Auto, Seely's or the Montgomery Ward store. They're all in the same block so we won't need to walk too far. And there's Miss Bubb's burgandy '46 Ford parked next to Bob Fedder's newstand, again. Overheard Shorty Balaz and Doc Fisher talking about how low the river is so maybe we can wade out to one of the islands tomorrow. How about a bicycle ride to the water dam or a hike over the Heights to Summerhill. It's a nice day to walk around the wall at Crispin Field. No,

I've gotta run. The ElCaminos are playing at the Rumpus Room down on West Front Street and
