In 1997 I was asked to remove and discard some items from a gentleman's home in preparation for his move to Harrisburg. Just before finishing up, he happened to remember there were six aluminum discs he had stored in an upstairs room and told me to "do what you want with them". He then asked me if I knew what they were. I had no idea and wasn't even able to venture a guess. Shown here is one of those discs. It's about 3 feet in diameter, unpolished aluminum and about 3/16" thick. Can you guess what it is and/or where it's from before clicking here?
